I called it four months ago. Ayup.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Ron Paul isn’t even going to win the Republican nomination in the state of New Hampshire. In case y’all haven’t been paying attention, the demographics and politics of this state have changed since Pat Buchanan (ugh) won the state nomination. Go ahead and smite the shit out of me for daring to desecrate the name of Ron Paul. Roll Eyes And if he does manage to get the NH nomination, I will publicly eat my hat. In fact, I will bring an enormous cake, in the shape of a hat, from Frederick’s Pastries, to an MVP meeting, and we can ALL eat my hat. Grin

So what happens now? Will Ron Paul seek the Libertarian Party nomination? Will he run as an independent? Will he go down in the muck of today’s New Republic splatterfest? And what will become of the Ron Paul Revolution? Things could get pretty interesting around here….. (yes, that’s YASR (Yet Another Serenity Reference))

    Many of us who have years of experience voting LP have thick calluses. I’m hoping these young folks who have jumped on the RP bandwagon aren’t too bummed out by the results of the Primary.
